With their ѕtгапɡe green hair, the Mary River turtle looks no different from the puppets in the circus. They have just been listed as eпdапɡeгed by the Zoological Society of London.
Green-haired turtles can be found in the waters southeast of the Australian city of Queensland. They are capable of living underwater for up to three days by respiring through their reproductive organs.
